Following three successful years, ALF 2026 comes to the San Francisco Bay Area as a celebration of literature, art, performance, memory, and cultural connection.

The day begins with “Identity & Belonging: Voices Between Kerala and San Francisco,” a curated morning session where poetry, storytelling, music, performance, and memory flow together in an immersive cross-cultural experience. Designed for both Malayalam-speaking and non-Malayalam audiences, this session reflects on migration, home, language, identity, and the emotional landscapes we carry with us.

The afternoon brings together powerful voices and classical artistry, featuring distinguished orators from Kerala, including Dr. Sunil P. Elayidom, followed by a special Mohiniyattam performance by Dr. Neena Prasad . This segment offers a rich blend of literary thought, cultural reflection, and the grace of Kerala’s classical performance traditions.

The evening culminates in a mesmerizing musical tribute to the legendary Vayalar Ramavarma. Acclaimed singers and musicians from Kerala will join us for an unforgettable night of music, poetry, memory, and nostalgia — celebrating timeless songs and words that continue to live across generations.
